Caring and compassion are a way of life for Susan, whether she’s helping her son with his jump shot, mentoring elementary girls in running and life through Girls on the Run, or assisting local neighbors in need, most recently during Hurricane Harvey. Helping others in need just seems to come naturally to this lively, energetic businesswoman – and it’s a major factor in her success both personally and professionally.
For Susan, listening is a key part of learning about life – and about people. “That’s the best way to help others,” she says, “by taking the time to really listen to them and learn their needs.” It’s this compassionate approach that has made Susan not only exceptionally effective with people, but a highly skilled and intuitive problem solver. By learning as much as she can about a given situation, she’s better equipped to effectively deal with it – and to experience positive results.
As a Broker, Susan offers clients and agents alike the benefit of significant knowledge of the local real estate market. As a seasoned investor, she has the uniquely special capability to accurately assess both the value of a potential property, as well as a wealth of knowledge about and resources for repairs and upgrades. Buyers and sellers who work with Susan know they can count on her to keep them informed of the status of their transaction, and they benefit from her use of the latest in communication and technology to do so. “If there’s a way I can make the process easier for my clients,” says Susan, “I’ll do it in a heartbeat.”
In 2014 for her community service, real estate leadership and sales production, Susan was awarded alongside her colleagues with the Houston Association of Realtors TOP 20 AGENTS UNDER AGE 40 award. She is also trained as a Senior Real Estate Specialist, a Master Certified Negotiation Expert and has been named a 5-star agent in Texas Monthly magazine for the last 7 years in a row.
